The Napoleon Central House Recreational and Restoration Corporation seeks to preserve, maintain, operate Ye Olde Central House and promote performing arts and arts education within the Historic Hoosier Hills Region.

The 30 year old private not-for-profit organization owns the 1838 Federal style Central House Located across the public square in the town of Napoleon, Indiana.  The former Drover’s Inn and tavern—situated on an early stagecoach route from Cincinnati to Indianapolis—is listed in the National Register of Historic Places.

The Central House has presented fourteen musicals and ten Murder Mysteries over the years.  In addition, Central House takes programs to local adult care centers and provide free craft class.  Fourth grade students tour the site as part of their Indiana History curriculum.  Local artists involve the students in folk arts such as baking bread and cookies, weaving rugs and spinning wool.  Demonstrations of the harpsichord, harp flute, cello, violin and pianoforte (piano) include the instruction and students trying their hand.
